Private Counselling Services in Poole

How I work, in the Counselling room

There will be times in your life when you may feel overwhelmed, that everything is too much or feels out of control. I encourage you to explore your sense of self, your feelings, and your core values.

I will listen and work with you to make sense of your world again and offer strategies and tools to help you negotiate your way through with increased resilience.

My primary aim is to provide my clients with a safe, accepting, and non-judgemental space to shine a light and explore thoughts and feelings in order to enable a deeper understanding of themselves.

What to expect from our counselling sessions together

As a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, I will tailor my approach to your individual needs and preferences. I work both online and in person at a premises in Ashley Cross, Poole, Dorset.

You can expect an open, relaxed, and authentic environment in which you have the opportunity to feel heard and accepted free from judgement and external pressures. Together, we’ll delve into why you feel the way you do. Our communication will be open, honest, and trusted. I will be there to offer encouragement, establishing your trust in me from the start.

I will support you to really get to the core of things, even though that may be challenging. Our sessions will be full of empathy and understanding. Tears are welcome, and laughter is not unusual in my sessions.

You can be assured that confidentiality and autonomy will be respected throughout our work together and that my support is unconditional.
